The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released three official Christmas photographs of adorable Prince George. Taken in the courtyard at Kensington Palace the third-in-line to the throne shows off his toy soldier knit vest.
The photos of Prince George were taken by Prince Harry‘s private secretary Ed Lane Fox, who has also worked as a freelance photographer.

BBC royal correspondent, Peter Hunt says that Prince William and his wife Catherine are releasing the images as a thank you to the media, who have not published any of the paparazzi pictures that have been taken of the prince. They’re grateful that their request has been honored to have their son grow up without media intrusion.
The royal couple are expecting Prince George’s sibling. The announcement was made in September and the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth in April.
We wish the Cambridge family a very Merry Christmas!
Lady Anglophile….wondering what to buy for Prince George for Christmas.
Apparently “Genius Actor” and “Cumberbabe” are not sufficient enough titles to hold the interest of Hollywood’s hottest actor. Benedict Cumberbatch has now entered the world of Superheroes and mystic arts as Marvel announced today that he is to headline their next film, Dr Strange! Let the fan art begin!
The film, directed by Scott Derrickson with Jon Spaihts writing the screenplay, will follow the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
Cumberbatch is no stranger to portraying highly intellectual individuals having won an Emmy award for his portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous creation, “Sherlock” along with the current release of “The Imitation Game,” where he is receiving heavy pre-Oscar buzz for his performance as brilliant mathematician and logician Alan Turing. Also on the docket is “The Hobbit: The Army of the Five Armies” as Smaug and the Necromancer which he is currently promoting. For the role of Smaug, Cumberbatch stepped into the world of motion capture to bring the dragon to life. He will next be seen in Scott Cooper’s film “Black Mass,” the story of Whitey Bulger coming to theaters next September, where he stars opposite Johnny Depp and Joel Edgerton.
“Stephen Strange’s story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character.
The recently engaged star’s other credits include the Academy Award-winning “12 Years a Slave,” “War Horse,” “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,” “August: Osage County,” “Star Trek Into Darkness,” “The Fifth Estate,” and “Parade’s End.” Benedict will be returning to the stage this summer in Hamlet at the Barbican with Lyndsey Turner directing. His last stage performance in Danny Boyle’s Frankenstein opposite Jonny Lee Miller awarded him the Olivier. So you know he has happy agents….
With “Doctor Strange,” Cumberbatch is just the latest actor to join the bold Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, introducing new heroes and continuing the adventures of fan favorites across multiple films.
Dr Strange is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, 2016.

Live from the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios in London, director Sam Mendes announced that Bond24 will be titled, “Spectre,” and starring in the film will be Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.
Daniel Craig will be returning for his fourth Bond movie along with Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. New cast members Waltz will play Oberhauser, Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Mr. Hinx, and….wait for it, wait for it: none other than Sherlock’s Moriarty, Andrew Scott as Denbigh! Oh honey, I can’t wait to see Andrew in this!
And how about Bond driving around in his new fancy Aston Martin DB10? Check out his new wheels….
The new film will follow Bond on the hunt to uncover an evil organization called Spectre after receiving a message from his past. The film begins principal photography next week and will be shot at Pinewood along with several exotic locations such as Rome, Tangier, Morocco, Mexico, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altaussee in Austria! That’s going to make for some gorgeous cinematography!
Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for Eon Prods., and reps from MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment were also on hand for the announcement.
The screenplay was written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. The film is set for a November 2015 release. That’s a pretty quick turn around if you ask me.

Sherlockians REJOICE! Grab your deerstalker caps because everyone from BBC One to Amanda Abbington has Tweeted that our favorite deducing, high-functioning sociopath, Sherlock is back! #221Back!
This ‘First Look’ photo intimated that a Victorian setting might be used in what is simply being called the “Sherlock Special”
Series Creator/Producer/Writer (all around television God), Mark Gatiss has already warned “You can expect tragedy as well as adventure.” Gatiss told Radio Times, “There are lots of places to go and a lot of surprises to come” and he says the fandom should expect tear-jerking moments! Someone IS going to die…but he won’t say who!
We lets hope the tragedy is not Abbington’s fabulous, ass-kicking, trained ex-assassin Mary…even though her television character has already lived longer than she does in the novels. We love Mary and Watson together. They have fantastic chemistry…which is a good thing given they’re real-life partners. However, if it is Mary who meets her demise you know she’s going to go down in a spectacular blaze of glory…especially if her past catches up to her.
At least we know Abbington is around for the special as she re-Tweeted a comment about a table read that took place yesterday.
Gatiss has confirmed that Sherlock will go before the cameras in early 2015 with an air date, hopefully, by the end of the year. Perhaps even a Christmas Special? Still SO far away!
In the meantime, Sherlock stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are both about to embark on a whirlwind tour to promote The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies, which they are both in. Cumberbatch has already been on his own non-stop tour promoting early Oscar contender, The Imitation Game and the Dreamworks animated film, Penguins of Madagascar.
In the meantime you can make yourself happy by watching Sherlock re-runs on BBC America and try to deduce for yourself just which direction Gatiss is going to take the story.
Lady Anglophile…deerstalker on and ready for some Sherlock.
