Prince Charles Records Shakespeare’s Henry VIII for The Queen’s Birthday

Prince Charles Records Special Birthday Gift for The Queen’s 90th!

QueenCharles2

What do you get the woman who has everything…especially when said woman is not only your mum but The Queen of England?

Thus was the conundrum The Prince of Wales found himself in on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II‘s  90th birthday.  So he enlisted the help of  Greg Doran, Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and together they came up with a perfectly suited passage from William Shakespeare’s Henry VIII which includes the lines: “She shall be, to the happiness of England, an aged princess; many days shall see her, and yet no day without a deed to crown it.”  Such a beautiful and fitting passage.

A lovely gift from a loving son!

Take a listen to our edited audio accompanied by images of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II:

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!
