Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge is safely delivered of a new baby girl! Kensington Palace Tweeted the good news just after 11AM GMT.

The new baby princess was delivered at 8:34AM and weighed 8lbs 3oz. Prince William was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry & members of both families have been informed. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well!!

The town crier has already made his traditional proclamation. The baby, who is fourth in line to the throne, will have her name announced in good time.
