Today The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, hosted a lunch for members of the Order of Merit at Windsor Castle.
The Order of Merit is a special honour awarded to individuals of great achievement in the fields of the arts, learning, literature and science. Today’s guests included playwright Sir Tom Stoppard, broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough and the inventor of the internet Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
