That’s right “Outties”…after we’ve just gotten all hot and bothered over Claire and Jamie’s wedding and with this week’s midseason finale looming…Starz has just announced that there will be a ‘wee bit’ of a mid-season break and our favorite Sassenach and gorgeous kilt-wearing Scot will NOT be back till NEXT Spring!! What?? How can they do this to us?

However tortuous this may seem to us fans…I suspect the long hiatus might be because they’ve yet to shoot the ‘back 9’. I don’t know…I’m just guessing. Either way Outlander is coming back in a big way next Spring…and I can’t wait because like the millions of viewers that tuned in for “The Wedding”…I’m hooked!

The critically – acclaimed series adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore (“Battlestar Galactica,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation”) has already been picked up for a second season.

Heard good things about this series. Hope it does well but for many of us it means waiting for the DVD since many of us don’t have Starz. I already pay enough for what I do get on TV and I’d have to upgrade again to get this station.
