The world is on Royal Baby Watch again! Clarence House has just confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their second child!

And soon there will be four!

The Royal Baby Announcement was as follows:

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.

The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”

Kate was hospitalized early in her first pregnancy because of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which can cause severe nausea, vomiting and dehydration. Here’s hoping she doesn’t suffer for too long this time around or that this does not prevent her from accompanying William on their planned trip to Malta later this month.

The new baby will be fourth in line for the throne behind Prince George, who turned one on July 22. This moves Prince Harry further down the line of succession…but as the former “royal spare” I’m sure Uncle Harry will have much advice to dispense!

British Prime Minister, David Cameron was the first to congratulate the couple on their happy news when he Tweeted, “Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I’m delighted by the happy news that they’re expecting another baby.” and we shall add our congratulations to the thousands that are pouring in from all over the world, CONGRATULATIONS TO WILLIAM, KATE AND BABY GEORGE!!
